Summary
I am an academician and researcher currently working as Associate Professor and HoS, School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University, Himachal Pradesh. I also hold the position of HoD, Sciences and Programme Coordinator cum Director Foundation Course Sem I in the university. I completed my Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Himachal Pradesh University. A Gold Medalist in M.Sc. Chemistry (Instrumental Analysis) from GNDU, I have an experience of over ten years in teaching, research, and academic administration. My research interests include ionic liquids, solution chemistry, and nanoparticle synthesis for forensic and biomedical applications.
I have published numerous papers in reputed national and international journals, guided two Ph.D. scholars, and organized several national and international conferences and faculty development programmes. I also serve as Chairperson of the Proctorial Board and Discipline Committee at APG Shimla University, demonstrating leadership and commitment to academic excellence and student development.
